eGate
We would like to thank all transport companies who have partnered with us and worked hard to adopt eGate, supporting a smoother and more efficient gate experience for everyone. From Thursday 14 May at 7:00am, eGate became compulsory across all Fergusson gates. For those still being processed manually, we ask that you please ensure your teams are fully onboarded and operational with eGate to avoid any access delays or disruption. ๐Ÿšš Multi-Cargo (MC) Operations

  • Container/Bulk berths and yard is at 50% capacity and expected to increase as we are looking at discharging a PCC/RoRo vessel at Freyberg.
  • PCC Car volume in the yard is currently at 45% capacity and expected to increase to full capacity with vessels calling through the week.

Bledisloe wharf is clearing out from significant discharge last week & still has a large number of Tranships awaiting their connecting outbound vessel.

Bledisloe North wharf & the Car Handling Facility construction progressing well. We have container and bulk vessels operating throughout the week across Jellicoe & Freyberg.

If you are on-port, please follow the instructions of the MC Ops & Stevedoring team. Check with supervisors before entering operational areas. Safety first!

โš Safety Notice:

 Disengaging of truck pins:

  • Reminder that drivers must check that their twistlocks have been fully disengaged and chains have been released for any container being uplifted at POAL
  • Not doing so, can cause damage to both your trucks and our hoists. To eliminate this risk please remind your drivers to undo their twist locks in the Driver Safety Zones (DSZ)

A reminder that the hatched area at the Green Lane roadway to Fergusson Terminal is a no-stopping area as it is a high-traffic zone for eGate access. Stopping here creates safety risks and potential delays for other drivers.

Please ensure all drivers:

  • Do not park or stop in this area under any circumstances
  • If you need to park up, use the Fergusson truck park and wait for a parking spot to become available
  • Follow  all site signage and directions from port staff

Safety is imperative here at Port of Auckland, so please ensure your drivers adhere to these requirements.
