Fergusson Terminal

Container terminal operations are tracking well this week, with teams focused on maintaining consistent performance across both seaside and landside activities.
Average on time arrivals for the past 4 weeks was 64% with average on time departure for those that arrived on window at 100% for the same period.

Multi-Cargo Operations

Container/Bulk berths and yard is at 60% capacity and expected to increase to 95% from this weekend with both discharges & receivals.
PCC Car volume in the yard is currently at 85% capacity and expected to increase to full capacity throughout this week with large discharges.
Bledisloe North wharf & the Car Handling Facility construction on track for completion Q1, 2027.
This week is expected to be very busy with both conventional & RORO vessels.

Safety Notice

Disengaging of truck pins

Reminder that drivers must check that their twistlocks have been fully disengaged and chains have been released for any container being uplifted at POAL.
Not doing so, can cause damage to both your trucks and our hoists. To eliminate this risk please remind your drivers to undo their twist locks in the Driver Safety Zones (DSZ)

A reminder that the hatched area at the Green Lane roadway to the Fergusson Terminal is a no-stopping area as it is a high-traffic zone for eGate access. Stopping here creates safety risks and potential delays for other drivers.

Please ensure all drivers:

Do not park or stop in this area under any circumstances
If you need to park up, use the Fergusson truck park and wait for a parking spot to become available
Follow all site signage and directions from port staff

	Any General Cargo (Breakbulk) or Vehicle (not classified as a car), that is discharged from a vessel, landed on the wharf/quay and reloaded to the same vessel. Charge is per tonne or m3, whichever is greater. 1 tonne/m3 minimum applies.

	A single item of any cargo greater than 40 tonnes through either the vehicle or non-vehicle terminal. Charged in addition to General Cargo (Import, Export, Tranship) wharfage costs. Transhipment charge split in half - arriving transhipment charged (50%) to the arriving operator and departing transhipment charged (50%) to the departing operator. Charged on tonne only.
