⚠Safety Notice:

Keeping our truck lanes clean and safe

To help us maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment for everyone, we’d like to remind drivers about the facilities available on site and the correct use of Port of Auckland truck lanes and kiosks.

Toilet facilities are open for drivers, and portable toilets are located within the truck grid. Over recent weeks, we’ve seen an increase in inappropriate use of the truck lane kiosks, including instances of drivers using them as toilets. This creates significant safety, hygiene, and operational risks for everyone on site and cannot occur.

Driver Expectations:

  • Drivers must use toilet facilities before entering the terminal or
  • Use the portable toilets provided within the truck grid
  • Keep truck lane kiosks for transactions only

CCTV is in operation across all truck lane kiosks. Where inappropriate use is identified, port access may be suspended, and the transport company will be charged for any required cleaning.

We appreciate your support in helping us keep the truck lanes clean, safe, and professional for everyone onsite. Thank you for reinforcing these expectations with your drivers.
