A road closure is impacting access to the port due from the Tamaki Drive/Solent Street traffic lights to Ngapipi Road. Traffic Control is managing who can turn right into the port. There is still access from The Strand/CBD end of Tamaki Drive.

🏗 Container Terminal Update
Container Terminal operations are running well with 100% on time departure for vessels that arrived on time last week. Volume remains strong with over 11,500 containers worked through the terminal per week over the last three weeks. Coupled with strong performance in truck turn times this also sees a reduction in import dwell times.

We are excited to announce that eGate is now live at Fergusson Main Gates for all carriers:

Drivers will see either green or red on their device:

  • GREEN: All information is correct, the driver is on time for their slot, or the terminal can accommodate the truck’s arrival.

Proceed to the gate.

  • RED: There is an issue. Drivers must park in the truck park, resolve any issues, or wait for their booked time slot.

We’re hosting online onboarding sessions and alternatively we can visit your office to onboard your teams. To arrange a session, contact or Jalen Lefaoseu ([email protected]).

Resources, including an video tutorial and dispatch/driver guides, are available here

We’re also running a weekly eGate rewards programme for dispatch teams and drivers. Find out more here.

The deadline to collect POAL Security Access Cards has been extended to 31 October. Please ensure cards are collected as soon as possible.
