Kia ora,

We have been advised that as part of the National Day of Solidarity, a march is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 28 October between 12pm – 2pm, from Ōrākei and finishing at Teal Park on the corner or Solent Street and Tamaki Drive (near the Fergusson port entry).

We anticipate some disruption to port gate access during this time. Police will be present, and port Security will be closely monitoring activity.

A partial road closure along Tāmaki Drive will be in place from around 12.45pm, managed by Police. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with travel permitted towards the CBD only.

We encourage customers with booking slots scheduled during the march period to consider moving them to Saturday – Monday. There are plenty of slots available between Saturday - Monday. Wednesday is limited additional capacity over the bookings already in place.

Disruption on the day could lead to a short notice temporary closure at Fergusson gate entry. We will keep you updated via Road Alerts.

The level of disruption remains uncertain at this stage, but we wanted to provide early notice ahead of the long weekend so you can plan accordingly. Our priority is the safety of our customers, our people and operations.

Thank you for your cooperation.
