Fergusson Terminal Update
After a short period of disruption Fergusson terminal has seen stronger on time departure performance with 70% and 100% of vessels that arrive on time departing on time over the last two weeks. We continue to focus on supporting schedule integrity in both our seaside and landside operations. We also thank our customers and networks for the continued sharing of information in regards to any impacts they are experiencing as a result of activity in the Middle East.

eGate Driver mobility app
We have been made aware that, in some instances the Cargowise driver Mobility app is timing out for some drivers. Cargowise is currently preparing a fix for this issue.   We will keep customers updated as soon as the fix is released. You can find further information here

🚚 Multi-Cargo (MC) Operations

  • Container/Bulk berths and yard is at 70% capacity and expected to increase to 100% by early next week.
  • PCC Car volume in the yard is currently at 80% capacity and expected to remain at 80% until next week

Good news is that we continue to have a steady flow of RoRo vessels arriving at Bledisloe this month. Due to this our yard will be full and we request the vehicle transporters to help clear the yard as soon as possible - thank you in advance. Bledisloe North wharf & the Car Handling Facility construction is progressing well, and we have started to develop our operational plans around the future flow of cargo and passengers in these areas.

A steady stream of Pacific Island container, breakbulk and coastal barge vessels arriving over the next week around Freyberg and Jellicoe wharves.

As always, if you are on-port, please follow the instructions of the MC Ops & Stevedoring team and check with supervisors before entering operational areas.

⚠Safety Notice:

 Disengaging of truck pins:

  • Reminder that drivers must check that their twistlocks have been fully disengaged and chains have been released for any container being uplifted at POAL
  • Not doing so, can cause damage to both your trucks and our hoists. To eliminate this risk please remind your drivers to undo their twist locks in the Driver Safety Zones (DSZ)

A reminder that the hatched area at the Green Lane roadway to the Fergusson Terminal is a no-stopping area as it is a high-traffic zone for eGate access. Stopping here creates safety risks and potential delays for other drivers.

Please ensure all drivers:

  • Do not park or stop in this area under any circumstances
  • If you need to park up, use the Fergusson truck park and wait for a parking spot to become available
  • Follow  all site signage and directions from port staff

Safety is imperative here at Port of Auckland, so please ensure your drivers adhere to these requirements.
