Important access requirements for Fergusson Terminal

With the introduction of eGate, all drivers accessing Fergusson Terminal need a valid Port of Auckland Security Access Card. This ensures everyone entering the port are properly accredited, have a current Authority to Work (ATW) permit, and have completed the Port of Auckland induction.

To avoid any issues post 30th September, please ensure all your drivers have both

  • A physical Port of Auckland Security Access Card

If your drivers do not yet have a Port of Auckland access card, they must collect one from the ATW Office on Tinley Street by 1600 hours, 30 September 2025.

The Port Access Office is open Monday to Friday, 0600–1600 hours, and can assist with Authority to Work enquiries and Security Access Card collection.
