Good morning

Port of Auckland is monitoring the current weather (wind) situation closely and taking all safety precautions and following standard operating procedures accordingly. Based on the current forecast there will be disruptions to operations over the next 36-48 hours.

Current forecasts indicate the worst of the weather will be tomorrow, Wednesday 21 January. As a result, we have made the decision to pause container terminal operations from 0700 hours Wednesday 21 January through to 0700 hours Thursday 22 January.

All VBS bookings for the Fergusson Terminal impacted by the confirmed shutdown from 0700 hours Wednesday to 0700 hours Thursday will be cancelled accordingly.

We will operate with caution across today and may be required to extend the planned operational shutdown from 1900 hours tonight. We will provide further updates on the weather situation and any further impacts to operations mid-afternoon today.

We appreciate your ongoing support and understanding during this time.
