Accessing the Port

We are committed to providing a safe environment for our people, customers and visitors. To make sure we do this, visitors requiring regular access to the port are required to complete an online health and safety induction before we can approve the issue of an access card.

Health and safety is at the forefront of everything we do. The nature of operations at our port means that we're a high-risk workplace for injuries, so it's crucial that we inject healthy and safe processes into all aspects of our business. Read more on our initiatives in this area in our Annual Review.

It's critical that visitors to the port understand and work in line with our health and safety and environmental guidelines. To facilitate this, regular visitors to the port, contractors, employees and transport operators can apply for access cards to access the port unescorted following the completion of our online port access learning.

Using a PC, please follow this link to register, complete the application and submit to receive a login and password for the online induction. Please note you cannot register with a mobile phone or tablet. For induction FAQ's please click here.

If you are renewing your induction, please click here to log in and complete the required modules. If you need assistance, please refer to the "How to: Renew your Online Induction" document below.

If you are requesting access to the port (as a regular visitor, contractor or transport operator), you or your Employer will also need to complete a Port Access Application Form (PAAF), available for download at the bottom of this page.
