As you will be aware, the use of POAL concrete blocks has been and still is a current tariff charge. Due to various reasons we have overlooked charging for these. The concrete barriers are a POAL asset and we need to ensure that costs for their purchase and maintenance are recovered. They are primarily used for containing bulk and breakbulk products and as wharf edge barriers.
 
Please be aware that from 1 July 2018, we will recommence charging for the use of concrete blocks at Multi-Cargo. The charges will be applied to the associated stevedore utilising the blocks, unless otherwise arranged with alternative cost acceptance.

The charge is $58.93 per block / per day, ex gst.
