Dear Port Customer,

This year the Coastal Classic Yacht Race will be taking place on Friday 23 Oct 2020. This is New Zealand's premier fleet yacht race and has been held annually around Labour weekend since its inception in 1982.

To accommodate for this event shipping will be suspended from between 07:00 to 10:30 hours to allow time for the 2000 participants to assemble at the start line (as depicted on the map attached) and then clear the shipping channel. 

From pilotage perspective this means that:

• The last pilot boarding time for an arrival is 07:30, last departure time is 08:00;
• Next pilot boarding time for an arrival is 10:30, next departure time is 10:30.
