Please find below our operating hours for Easter 2023 holiday period.
Our operating hours are based on feedback from Carriers, indicating a lack of demand, particularly for night time R&D on Friday (7th April), Saturday (8th April) and Sunday (9th April).
We cannot put labour capacity on to service demand that is not going to materialise hence the current plan to operate kiosk only on the stated nights. We will monitor, and if the situation changes to any further operating times we will confirm no later than Wednesday 5th April.
We must keep containers moving off Port, otherwise, we will congest and with a short week following before the arrival of more import volume, our ability to clear any backlog will be severely restricted. We ask all Carriers please to maximise R&D periods to help keep containers flowing off Port.
If you have specific containers that are required outside of these hours, please contact the Transport Co-ordinators to review what options may be available.
Fergusson Export DG Paperwork:
During Kiosk only hours please ensure any Export DG paperwork is sent to the office prior to 1800 hours and Import DG paper is given to your drivers at the beginning of their shift as the office will not be manned during this time.
Import demurrage:
Import Demurrage free days as per our price schedule – Friday 7th April and Monday 10th April will be additional free days if they fall within your demurrage free time. Hazardous Storage allowable dwell time and reefer power & monitoring remain the same. Please contact Customer Service, if you have Dangerous Goods container queries.
