Good afternoon,

The following applies to crew onboarding Pacific Island (PI) vessels that fly in to New Zealand from 14 November 2021, as per the guidelines issued by the authorities (attached​).

Process for crew joining PI vessels in Auckland:

• The crew member/s joining a vessel at POAL must be fully vaccinated (in keeping with guidelines from authorities)
• The crew member/s must present a negative test on arrival into NZ (in keeping with guidelines from authorities) – same to be sent to POAL
• The crew member/s must complete 7 days in MIQ and 3 days of self-isolation outside the vessel, return a 9^th day negative test and join on day 10 or thereafter. (same to be forwarded by agent to POAL).
