The VBS system was implemented at Multi-Cargo on the 1 November 2022 with the intention of using November and December to "settle" the system and allow all parties time to work through implementation of the booking system and supporting processes.
We engaged with the road community primarily through the National Road Carriers listening to feedback on the implementation and collectively identified that there were area's needing improvement related to the port's activities in the R&D process, these have now been addressed.
As confirmed on the 19th December the Container Chain VBS charges at Multi-Cargo were deferred and will commence on the 1st February 2023.
