Ports of Auckland Limited are introducing an Authority to Work access permit for all businesses entering the port. The permit requires your business to complete a health and safety pre-qualification to obtain approval from Ports of Auckland to retain port access.

The Authority to Work access permit will provide better visibility of the hazards and risks shared across the port and strengthen our ability to meet joint PCBU (Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking) responsibilities to keep workers safe, as required by the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015.

We will be contacting the 900 businesses with current access to the port to apply for an Authority to Work access permit by 30 June. You do not have to do anything until your business is contacted. If you are not the appropriate person to complete the Authority to Work access permit for your company, please complete this form to help us identify who is.
