Acceptance of Empty Containers to Link Facility

Good Morning,

Due to the number of late arriving vessels over this weekend with large import exchanges we are needing to preserve yard capacity to manage peak demand. To assist in managing yard congestion and maintain reliable Terminal productivity throughout next week we are formally suspending acceptance of import dehires to Link for all vessels berthing between Friday 28 August to Friday 4 September.

We have instructed PortConnect to disable Link as a return location effective immediately.

We will of course manage export empties, another profile we are seeing in high demand at present, based on agreed receival periods with our Yard Planning teams. As per usual we will liaise with Empty Carriers to meet vessel cut offs.

If the situation improves through next week we will update and resume import dehires into Link as soon as we can.
