We operate a dedicated Hydrographic Survey team as part of our wider Marine Services team. Hydrographic surveys are conducted to ensure that our port meets requirements on the harbours that we operate.
Collectively, our team members have years of experience in planning and conducting hydrographic surveys for national and international charting and navigational requirements. They are highly skilled in precise navigation, operations and tidal processes, which is critical in the collection of accurate data.
We also carry out contract work to deliver a range of coastal management and survey services, including:
Large-and-small scale seabed mapping surveys |
Surveys of critical depth areas, pipelines, berths and navigation channels |
Pre/Post dredge surveys for marine and inland waterway projects |
Seabed profiling for resource consent monitoring |
Determination of tidal levels and datums |
Recording, analysis and prediction of tides |
Professional advice on hydrographic and charting issues |
Tidal stream and current measurements using ADCP |
