Customer Advisory

RWC Developments

Good Afternoon,

Following recent requests, Ports of Auckland has agreed to make Captain Cook wharf available as a back-up fan zone should crowd capacity limits on Queens Wharf be exceeded during the remaining weekends of the Rugby World Cup. The southern part of Bledisloe may also be made available later in the event if required.

This is an important event for Auckland and New Zealand and we’re committed to helping make it one every Aucklander can be proud of.

We are working on a range of options to accommodate customers who were to be serviced at Captain Cook in other areas. There are a number of customers who have very kindly agreed to work with us over the next 6-7 weeks during the RWC to manage container and space demand optimally and for this we are extremely appreciative.

For information about road closures during the event see the attached PDF and keep an eye on the Auckland Transport website.
