Today we would like to update you as follows –

Due to high volumes being discharged over the weekend we expect the yard to be under considerable pressure in the beginning of next week. On Monday and Tuesday, we will be operating at maximum yard capacity and to assist in reducing this pressure we encourage Carriers to utilise the 24 hours access on Saturday and Sunday and to discuss with importers timely pre-clearances and options for deliveries outside normal business hours.

In order to increase Import pick-ups our Gate Ops Team will be managing VBS bookings manually throughout today on top of our standard allocations. We encourage Carriers to make direct contact with our Transport Coordinators to book slots for landed and cleared import containers.

We ask that Import DG containers and active reefers are prioritised for pick-ups. If you need assistance with VBS bookings for these types of containers, please contact Transport Co-ordinators.

We are currently receiving Export containers for the following vessels:

  • Venetia 016N
  • ANL Wendouree 112

Bomar Rossi KE845A will only perform a partial discharge on her first call (ETA 29/11). Containers that don’t come off during this call will be discharged on her second call (ETA 05/12). If your container is not showing on PortConnect please make contact MSC for assistance.

We request rail users refrain from sending Export Containers that are not for the above-mentioned vessels. Containers that are booked to load later vessels will not be unloaded from the train and will be returned.

Our on-dock Link facility is reaching its capacity and we will be managing empty de-hires therefore there could be delays in truck processing at the gate.

Receival of Empty Export containers is being managed directly with the Shipping Lines.
