Road exchange

Fergusson Container Terminal

Monday: Open from 0700 hours
Tuesday - Friday : 24hours
Saturday: Open till 1500 hours*
Sunday: 0700 hours - 1500 hours

Bledisloe wharf
Receival & delivery operations**
Monday 0700 - 2300 hours
Tuesday 0700 - 1500 hours
Wednesday: 0700 - 1500 hours
Thursday: 0700 - 2300 hours
Friday: 0700 - 2300 hours
Saturday: 0700 - 1500 hours
Sunday: CLOSED

*Carriers arriving after 1500 hours Saturday or Sunday will not be processed until the following day.
**Carriers with exports or imports for Bledisloe vessels: Drivers proceed directly to Fergusson Road Office for processing by the road office staff. Once processed driver proceeds to Bledisloe truck park and waits for gate access OR Use web-based InterACT functions for processing through one of the Express kiosks at Bledisloe. Drivers will need to be on-time for their VBS slots for this function. This can be used for any full or empty loading or discharging a vessel.

Interwharf transfer (shuttle)

Monday to Saturday: 0700 - 1400hours (operational hours subject to demand)

Shuttle movement requests must be made within Terminal Customer Service Team operating hours.

The Shuttle definition for Urgent and Standard moves:

If a container is on the port and available to be moved 24 hours prior to the departing vessel arrival, and the move has been requested 36 hours prior to the departing vessel arrival, then it is a Standard move and POAL will guarantee the move. If, however, either of these conditions is not true then the container will be treated as an Urgent move. The move will be carried out on a ‘Best Endeavours’ basis and charged at the higher rate. Movement Requests must be during normal Customer Service hours.

Tuesday to Friday 0600 - 2300hrs
Saturday 0700 - 1500hours
Sunday - Closed

Empty containers being delivered to Fonterra can also be delivered during the above hours through Fergusson MT depot:

Outside of the above times empty storage containers will not be able to be collected or delivered through either terminal. The above times do not apply to Empty Exports or Empty Import containers destined for the main terminals at both Fergusson and Bledisloe
